Coal Creek Theater of Louisville presents
The Women of Lockerbie
by Deborah Brevoort
Directed by Larisa Netterlund
Seven years after Pan Am Flight 103 fell from the sky over Scotland, a mother from New Jersey still wanders the hills of Lockerbie, searching for any trace of her son. She encounters the local women, who are waging their own battle — fighting the U.S. government for the victims' clothing, still held in a warehouse, scheduled to be destroyed. They want to wash the clothes and return them to the families. To transform an act of hatred into an act of love. Written in the style of Greek tragedy, this poetic drama is a meditation on grief, compassion, and the slow, stubborn work of healing.

Chris returns to CCTL after playing Julia Morrow in Bodice Ripper last season. Her sets for Voice of the Prairie, On Borrowed Time, and All My Sons have won her Louie Awards. She is a Board Member and Set Designer for TCL of Lafayette. She wants to thank Larisa for recruiting her to help in the execution of her vision for this dynamic production, and to Pam Bennett for once again being her "scenic side kick". Hugs!

Pam is new to CCTL, having been borrowed from TCL in Lafayette, where she is a Board Member and set designer. Her sets include Glengarry Glen Ross and TCL's upcoming production, Shakespeare: Land of the Dead. She was also helped paint the set for Longmont Theatre's A Little Night Music last season. It has been fun working with CCTL's wonderful cast and crew. Break a leg!

Reviews and Testimonials
“**This is an exquisite production. These performances alone make the show worth seeing.** Steve Rausch is one of my favorite actors and he lives up to my expectations with a subtle and moving performance. Credit also goes to Larisa Netterlund’s intelligent direction… Grief doesn’t go away. Loss still hurts, but we can choose how we handle what comes next. *The Women of Lockerbie* captures this and will challenge you. **Also if you tear up a little. That’s ok. It’s the show asking you to release it…** At any rate. I hope you choose to go see this wonderful show.”
