The Front Range
Playwrights Showcase

The Front Range Playwrights Showcase has been elevating and celebrating Colorado playwrights since 2007. We give local writers a stage, a live audience, and honest feedback from professional adjudicators. Whether you're an emerging voice or an established writer, this is where original Colorado stories find their footing, and -

Where local theater grows stronger

How it Works

The Showcase unfolds in two parts.

First, playwrights workshop new one-acts in public readings, getting live audience response and honest feedback from industry professionals. Then, they take that feedback and spend the next year developing their work—and return with a fully-produced play in An Evening of Colorado-Grown One-Acts.

Playwrights walk away with professional feedback, real audience connection, networking within Colorado's theater community, and an opportunity to see their work fully staged.
