William has made his name writing hard-boiled detective novels starring a character called Manley. But now he wants to try something different: romance. Real romance. The bodice-ripping kind. When he shows up at a romance publishing house, he meets Julia — a cougar with opinions — and Heather, the nerdy-but-pretty editor who might just teach him a thing or two about matters of the heart. A world premiere comedy stuffed with cheesy dialogue, gloriously awkward moments, and just enough self-awareness to keep you laughing at all of it.
