William is a renowned author of hyper-masculine detective novels featuring a character named Manley. Seeking to expand his repertoire, William ventures into the world of romantic fiction. His journey takes an unexpected turn when he encounters Julia, a cougar, and Heather, a nerdy-but-pretty woman, both working for a romance novel publishing house. This quirky tale takes you on a weird roller coaster ride full of cheesy nonsensical dialogue, cleverly awkward situations, and yes, it even makes you think (a little).
