Greg is a middle-aged man drifting through a job he hates when he finds a dog in Central Park — or she finds him. He brings her home. His wife Kate, finally free of the kids and focused on her career, is less than thrilled. Sylvia sheds on the couch, demands constant attention, and looks at Kate like she's the intruder. Played by a woman, Sylvia says everything a dog would say if dogs could talk — which turns out to be a lot. What follows is a love triangle between a man, his wife, and a Lab-poodle mix who's absolutely certain she came first. A comedy about midlife, marriage, and the creatures who save us whether we asked them to or not.
