Sarah Goldman has a problem. She's dating Chris, who's wonderful — and not Jewish. Her traditional parents keep asking when she'll meet a nice doctor, so Sarah invents one. When they insist on meeting him, she panics and hires Bob, an out-of-work actor, to play the part. He's charming. He's convincing. Her parents are thrilled. And somewhere between the brisket and the guilt, Sarah starts falling for her fake boyfriend. A warm, funny romantic comedy about family expectations, cultural identity, and the lies we tell for love.
