Welcome to Armadillo Acres, Florida's most exclusive trailer park. Jeannie hasn't left her double-wide in twenty years — not since her son was kidnapped and her perm went bad. Her husband Norbert collects tolls and tries to hold things together. Then Pippi shows up: a stripper on the run with a jealous ex-boyfriend right behind her. Narrated by a Greek chorus of big-haired neighbors, this raunchy, rowdy musical serves up adultery, agoraphobia, road kill, hysterical pregnancy, and a whole lot of spray cheese — set to a twangy score of country, rock, and blues.
