One dining room. Fifty-some characters. Six actors. The table stays the same while decades of families pass through - birthday parties, holiday dinners, difficult conversations, quiet breakfasts before everything changed. Scenes overlap and blur into each other as children grow up, parents grow old, and the room itself becomes a relic of a world that's slipping away. Funny, tender, and a little melancholy, The Dining Room gives us a portrait of American family life, one meal at a time.
