Coal Creek Theater of Louisville presents
The 39 Steps
by Patrick Barlow
Directed by Robert Cardell
A bored Londoner. A mysterious woman with a foreign accent. A murder in his flat. Suddenly Richard Hannay is on the run, falsely accused and pursued across Britain by spies, police, and a shadowy organization known only as "The 39 Steps." This Olivier and Tony Award-winning comedy takes Hitchcock's classic thriller and turns it gloriously inside out — four actors play over 150 characters, complete with train chases, plane crashes, and quick-change mayhem. Part spy caper, part Monty Python, all theatrical magic.
Run Time - 1 hour & 45 minutes, with one 15-minute intermission.
