That Championship Season

by Jason Miller
Directed by Jim Kimbrough

Scranton, Pennsylvania. Twenty years ago, these five men won the state high school basketball championship. Now they gather at Coach's house like they do every year - the mayor facing a tough re-election, his campaign manager brother, a rich businessman who's been sleeping with the mayor's wife, and a bitter alcoholic. Coach still gives the same pep talks, still plays the recording of that final winning shot. But the drinks keep flowing, old resentments surface, and by the end of the night they'll have to face what that victory actually cost - and what kind of men it made them. Pulitzer Prize-winning portrait of glory gone sour.

Run Time - 2 hours and one 15-minute intermission
