Forty-eight summers on a lake in Maine. Norman Thayer is turning eighty, his memory is slipping, and he's not getting any nicer about it. Ethel, his wife of nearly five decades, handles him the way she always has — with patience, humor, and the occasional sharp word. Then their estranged daughter shows up with a new fiancé and his teenage son, and suddenly Norman has to figure out how to be a father again before he runs out of time. A play about how much can still change in a life's final season.
