Coal Creek Community Theater presents

Little Shop of Horrors

Book by Howard Ashman
Music & Lyrics by
Alan Menken & Howard Ashman
Directed by Pasco Scarpella

Skid Row. A down-on-his-luck florist's assistant. A mysterious plant that appeared after a total eclipse of the sun. At first, it's a miracle - the strange little plant brings customers, fame, and maybe even a shot at the girl of his dreams. Then it starts asking for food. Specifically, blood. The doo-wop is infectious, the horror is campy, and somewhere underneath all the man-eating mayhem is a genuine love story. Feed the need to see this one.

Content Advisory – Recommended for children 5 and up
Run Time – 2 hours & 15 minutes with one 15-minute intermission

This is the fourth Coal Creek Community Theater production in which she has played keyboards. She played for Something's Afoot, and Cox and Box/Trial by Jury. Judy has also been in the pit orchestras for several Community Artists' Theatre productions, to include A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, My Fair Lady, Guys and Dolls, Fiddler on the Roof, and Anything Goes. She enjoys the opportunity to play piano in her spare time.

Although, Rick and his daughter, Jenny, have helped out with past CCCT productions of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella and Broadway Then and Now!, this marks Rick's debut playing music for live theatre. He hopes to continue playing for years to come!
