Book by John Van Antwerp Music & LYrics by Richard Lewine & Ted Fetter Directed by Mark Johnson
Ophir, 1888. Two rival volunteer fire companies are battling for supremacy, and only one can answer the call when the alarm sounds. There's a dastardly villain scheming to steal a fortune, a golden-voiced heroine in peril, a dying mother with a locket that holds a secret, and a handsome hero who's very good with a hose. It's old-fashioned melodrama cranked up to eleven, complete with songs, mustache-twirling, and more ham than a butcher shop.
Run Time - 1 hour and 30 minutes, with one 10-minute intermission
