Four couples in evening wear arrive at a dinner party for the Deputy Mayor of New York and his wife. Small problem: the host has shot himself in the ear, his wife is nowhere to be found, and the servants have vanished. Rather than call the police, the guests decide to cover it up. Lies pile on lies, a second gunshot goes off, someone crashes a car, the cops show up anyway - and the excuses get more elaborate by the minute. Neil Simon's only farce, and it earns every slamming door.

Run Time - 2 hours with one 15-minute intermission
