Coal Creek Theater of Louisville presents
Incorruptible
by Michael Hollinger
Directed by Kirsten Jorgensen Smith
Priseaux, France, 1250 A.D. The river flooded last week, nobody's heard of the wheelbarrow yet, and the local monastery's patron saint hasn't worked a miracle in thirteen years. Pilgrims have stopped coming, the coffers are empty, and a rival church now claims to have the real holy relics. Enter a larcenous one-eyed minstrel with a scandalous solution: dig up the local graveyard and sell the bones as saints. Hollinger's deliciously wicked farce asks the eternal question — can a little holy fraud serve a higher purpose? A dark comedy about the Dark Ages that proves corruption has never been so much fun.
Run Time – 1 hour & 45 minutes with one 10-minute intermission

Howard most recently designed the sets for Enchanted April (with Pam Bennett) and Becky Shaw, in which he also played Lester (thanks to Dan!). Howard has performed on stage and in film and has written music for shows as well. For many years you might have seen him at the Colorado Renaissance Festival as Demetrius, the liar of ill repute. He would like to thank Pam for another fun show, and Kirsten, too! He would also like to thank the Board of Coal Creek Theater of Louisville for the opportunity to work with such a fine group of people.

Pam is thrilled to once again be working with Kirsten and Howard. She has worked with them on several other shows both at Coal Creek Theater and Theater Company of Lafayette. "This is such a fun set to help design and for such a great cast!"

Keegan is happy to be working on her second show with Coal Creek. Previously she designed Enchanted April here. She just finished stage managing Jotunheim for The BiTSY Stage and has also stage managed and designed several shows at Vintage and Spotlight. When she's not doing theatre things, she's a nanny, as well as running sound for the Colorado Renaissance Festival. She'd like to thank everyone who has given her support over the years, and to thank you, our audience because without you, theatre would just be a bunch of people playing pretend really well.

Mary played Hattie in Coal Creek's production of The Women of Lockerbie and Marnie in Dating Disconnect produced at the DCPA. In addition to acting in numerous productions in the metro area, she has costumed Seascape, Inherit the Wind, The Memo, Lloyd's Prayer, and many Twilight Zone and vintage television episodes for the Theater Company of Lafayette. She also designed and constructed a Tonkin Snub-Nosed Monkey costume for the Denver Zoo for use as an educational tool in Vietnam. It's been fun.

Peg is excited to be working again with Kirsten Jorgensen Smith and this excellent cast and crew of Incorruptible. This is the third show that Peg has propped for Coal Creek Theater. She was the Prop Master and Set Decorator for last season's And Then There Were None and for Dancing at Lughnasa. She just finished propping Leaving lowa for Longmont Theatre Company and is also propping 5 Lesbians Eating A Quiche for The Theatre Company of Lafayette. She would especially like to thank her husband Roger for putting up with tea-dyed fabric in the kitchen, books and bones in the living room, and fake quiches in the dining room.
